Privacy

FN Event is a community-run listing of Fortnite events in Ghana. It is not affiliated with Epic Games. This page says what we collect, why, and who can see it.

What we collect

• If you sign in with Google: your Google email address. We ask Google for your email and basic profile, and we keep only the email.
• Your Epic username and device (PC, Console or Mobile), which you type yourself and which are required before you can register for an event. The username isn't verified yet.
• If you turn on notifications: a technical address for this browser, so we can send pop-ups, and your choices for which pop-ups and emails you want. Emails go to your Google address, and each one has an unsubscribe link.
• If you host an event: the event details and flyer you submit, and the contact (email or WhatsApp) you give us so we can reach you about it.

You don't need an account to browse events. The “Join alerts” and waitlist buttons don't save anything yet.

Why we use it

To run your account, to review and publish events, and to contact organisers about their submissions. We don't sell your data, and we don't run ads.

Who can see it

• Your account details (email, Epic username, device) are visible to you and to the site admin.
• When you register for an event, the person who hosts it can see your Epic username, your device and whether you're registered or a backup. They never see your email.
• Approved events, including their flyers, are public. An organiser's contact is for us and is not shown on the site.
• We use Google to sign you in, Supabase to store data and Vercel to host the site. They process data for us under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can change your Epic username on your account page at any time. To have your account, an event or your contact removed, message us through any of the social links in the footer and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
